Ground Floor

Entry foyer and stairway plus guest bath.

Living room, with three big windows, French doors, fireplace, tile floor and wood beam ceiling, bookcases, stereo, beautifully furnished.

Dining room – with large windows, tile floor and beam ceiling, large fireplace, table that seats ten.

Kitchen – completely modernized, gas stove with electric grill top, and gas/convection oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and small eating area. Large window and French doors look out on back gardens. There is a large stock of dishes and cooking equipment.

Pantry, with washer and dryer

Master bedroom suite – queen size bed, and mahogany floors, dresser and chairs, connects through large closet and dressing room to bath with marble top sink and large glass block walk-in shower.

Second Floor

Reading/sitting room. Spacious open room at the top of the stairs is a favorite gathering place. There is a table for games, sofa and chairs, TV/VCR.

Double bedroom, with large queen bed and a daybed (room can sleep three), plus a fireplace and French doors to a Juliet balcony. Floor is carpeted, and there is a high beamed ceiling.  There is an adjacent large bathroom, with an extra long tub with shower and a large pedestal sink, marble floors.

Twin bedroom, with two beds, a fireplace, beamed ceiling and carpeted floor. This room is two stairs up off the reading room, separated by a wood railing and heavy grey flannel curtains.  It has a window overlooking the back garden, and a small skylight.

Single bedroom – in a separate small wing, with bed, dresser and closets, plus two windows.

Bathroom – these two bedrooms share a ceramic tile bath with sink and shower.

House sleeps a total/maximum of eight.

Gardens

The property is situated on a quiet hectare of fruit trees, pines, willows and other mature trees, plus fragrant lilacs, forsythia, and other shrubs. Across the front of the house are roses and lavender, with a wonderful patch of raspberry bushes in front of the west wing.

In the back, there are herb gardens, strawberries and lettuce, and pots of lavender. There is a sunken stone walled garden with roses and perennials in yellow, blues, and white, and gravel terraces with benches, tables and chairs all around.  There is also a sand boules terrain for those who play.
